Nutritious Green Smoothie

Preparing healthy meals for one person is often a difficult task. We generally end up wasting food and spending a lot of time preparing a meal that ends in a matter of minutes. Below you will find a simple recipe for a nutritious green smoothie for one. By purchasing the right ingredients, you will be able to make this same smoothie, day after day, without wasting any food. Better yet, the whole process take less than five minutes!

*Vegan, gluten-free, vegetarian

Ingredients:

1/2 banana

1/2 cucumber

1 cup spinach

1 tablespoon peanut butter (or nut butter of your choice)

1 tablespoon chia seeds

1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar

Squeeze 1/2 lemon

1/4 cup water

*Tip- if you want a creamier texture, try adding 1/2 of an avocado

 

Directions:

Blend all ingredients together
